Since Magic R&D's preferred term is now typal rather than tribal, whenever you see typal, understand we're talking about old tribal synergies (this also helps to differentiate type-based synergies from the tribal card type, which has been changed to kindred)

They pose less of an immediate threat to us in the earlier stages of the game while trying to keep up with Miracles in the mid/late game
